Georgina Vargas goes from law to jewellery.
Dimensiones is a small collection inspired by the cubist movement from Georgina, designed to complement Shantall Lacayo‘s AW2013 collection.
Metal is the principal theme of this collection with the stones agate, onyx, lapis lazuli, coral and moonstone playing a second role.
Whether it’s silver or 18-carat plated gold, the metals’ central role is to literally push out the reds, blues, blacks white and yellows, which I think it achieves amazingly well!
Georgina started designing jewellery whilst studying law in 2004. Limited to precious stones, she was unable to give full reign to her creativity. Then she went to Chile for her masters in business and simultaneously took a goldsmith course…
Returning home to Nicaragua, she has become a pioneer in her technique and is part of the emerging fashion scene in Nicaragua.
Georgina’s collection is available outside of Nicaragua at UBER SHOP in Panama.
